
The BIAS-AME 2026 Diploma Fellowship is a year-long opportunity that supports emerging practitioners, researchers, and thinkers dedicated to learning the Built Environment.
It offers full funding for selected fellows to complete the BIAS-AME Diploma, combining intensive coursework, mentorship, collaborative research and practice projects. The fellowship is designed to cultivate critical, ethically grounded approaches towards urban justice.

Note: The Fellowship does not cover any other expenses beyond tuition fees.
Eligibility
We welcome Students, practitioners, researchers, scholars, and post graduate students from any background with an interest in the Built Environment.
There is no age or experience limit. However the applicant needs to be at least enrolled in a Bachelors Degree.
Note: The program requires residing in Cairo.
Areas of Interest
Ecology, Heritage, History, Planning, Sociology, Arts, Anthropology, Economics, Political Science, Philosophy, Architecture .
Duration and Commitment
One year (Jan-Dec 2026), 9 hours per week across 3 days (Saturdays, Mondays, and Wednesdays from 6:00-9:00 pm).
Attend 80% of all modules and workshops - Absence rate should not exceed +20% of each module and workshop.
A 4-6-hour/week work contribution within the program time, as a fellow for one or more of the following activities based on their background and experiences: Documentation, Programming, Teaching Assistance, Archiving…etc.
