This anthology of writings on urban studies and planning for students, practitioners, and anyone fascinated by cities contains essays by Ebenezer Howard, Robert Park, Lewis Mumford, Raymond Unwin, Peter Hall and Mike Davis. The text includes an interdisciplinary introduction to how cities have evolved, what they are like, and where they may be headed.
